Visibility Score
Definition
A 0–100 per-mention metric based on prominence, ranking position, and recommendation strength, aggregated as average visibility across tracked prompts and days.
The Visibility Score is a 0–100 metric calculated for each brand mention in an AI model’s response. It quantifies how strongly and favorably an AI assistant features your brand.
How the Score is Calculated
For every captured AI response, PromptEden evaluates three core factors to determine the mention’s 0–100 score:
- Prominence: How prominently your brand is featured within the response (e.g., dedicated section vs. passing reference).
- Ranking position: Where your brand appears in ordered recommendations or comparative lists relative to competitors.
- Recommendation strength: The degree of explicit endorsement and positioning provided by the AI model.
The overall brand Visibility Score is aggregated as the empirical average visibility across all monitored prompts, models, and dates in your selected timeframe.
Interpreting Your Score

Using Your Visibility Score

- Attribution & proof: Measure how publishing authoritative, brand-grounded pages lifts your visibility across AI search engines.
