## How It Works
1. Measure: connect a project to establish visibility, citation, competitor, and traffic baselines.
2. Research: Eden compares observed answers across five supported AI surfaces and finds citation and content gaps.

- Hosted OAuth is for clients PromptEden has already registered with an allowed redirect URI. There is no dynamic client registration or self-service ChatGPT connector setup.
- Hosted `create_monitor` and `analytics_add_property_host` return approval proposals with a `deepLinkUrl`. The six team-gated content-agent writes also return human-approval proposals, including from local stdio. The other writes in this list are disabled on hosted MCP.
- Keys created before approval attribution, or whose creator was removed, keep their permitted read access but cannot propose hosted MCP writes or poll approvals. These requests return `api_key_predates_attribution`. In Settings → API Keys, look for the **No active creator** badge and ask an owner or admin to create a new key.
- Existing web-account API-key access is included on Starter, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Agent, within each plan's limits. A workspace without an active plan does not include it.

## Downloaded Script Tools

The nine content-agent tools appear only when content agents are enabled for the team. Reads require `content:read`; writes require `content:write`. Content reads and writes run through hosted MCP, including when called from local stdio. Every content write returns an `approval_required` proposal with a browser link for an owner/admin decision. Stored text is untrusted data. Output approval and veto require the `pieceId` and `pieceHash` from `review_content_agent_output`, the publication session owner, and an open veto window.
